Bio
Dr. Caius Chan graduated from the University of Toronto in 2008 with a Bachelor degree in Biology and Human Biology. He then moved on to study veterinary medicine in National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan and graduated in 2014. He has been working in Hong Kong since graduation and has been in the companion animal field for nearly 10 years now.
After graduation, Dr. Chan completed a 2 year rotating internship working with many specialists in different fields. After his internship, he continued to work and gain valuable emergency medicine experience at a busy 24 hour referral hospital managing emergencies and complicated cases for 4 years. He then moved on to private practice in pursuit of further developing his skills. During the years working as a veterinarian, Dr. Chan has cultivated a strong passion for the medical care of animals. His fields of interest include cardiology, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and ultrasonography. He is keen to pursue further study in these fields.
Dr. Chan is very thrilled to join the team at VVH in 2023. He cares deeply for animals of all kind, and makes their wellbeing his first priority. Dr. Chan is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
