Bio
Dr. Amy Cheung graduated from Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in 2008. She has brought new and innovative perspectives to the practice and has a special interest in veterinary ophthalmology. Dr. Cheung is one of the Medical Directors and her goal is to ensure the quality of service and medicine at Vancouver Veterinary Hospital.
Prior to joining Vancouver Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Cheung spent her time in California as a small animal practitioner and surgeon. She had the pleasure of working with Western University of Healthβs College of Veterinary Medicine in California as a teacher for veterinary students during their clinical rotations.
Dr. Cheung is proficient in Cantonese. Originally from Ontario, Dr. Cheung enjoys activities that brought her out to British Columbia years ago, such as skiing, mountain biking and hiking. She also enjoys baking, photography and spending time with her adopted dogs, Tequila the Mexican rescue and Kahlua the Golden Retriever mix.
